Cant Connect Directx 8 ?!?!

I have been playing Gw for about 1 year and a few weeks now, and been playing factions since day 1..

'ehh for soem reason i randomly got kicked and tried to start the game back up and i get a message saying something liek this

"not a good enuf 3d card, u need direct x 8 "

i have directx 8 and..... i have been playing both games since release, anyone else with this problem??

System specs? You may have to force GW to use DX8, instead of DX9.

nothing has changed since i bought it, maybe ill have to get new 3d card drivers.

If I ever saw that error message on my screen, I'd surely piss myself.
