I would like to catch your attention on an issue encountered since factions (since ANET fixed the gold drops bug exactly): the huge number of non-max items dropped and the auctions on them. Most of us were used to open chest in high end areas only, where gold items were in 98% of the cases max. Wander around Kainang Center: it's not the case. Everybody get amazing items.. that are not max. I've realized that 3 or 4 of the "godly" items I had kept (stuff like 15^50 req8, rare skin etc) were actually not max. I see plenty of them in Ventari's sell or in auction and people are bidding lots of cash on them, because they haven't noticed this. I could link to a thread where 9 out of 10 bidders retracted after someone posted in the topic the weap sold was not max.
I know you can't request all the sellers explicitely point at the fact they're not max, and "anti-advertise" on it. A pic of the description should be enough. But I think an aannouncement to remind the bidders to double check the damage of a weapon before bidding on it would be good.
Thanks for the good job.
EDIT - To illustrate this: I've just checked the auctions on plagueborn horn bows. Half of the bows on this page are not max. Some of them come with normal price, others obviously come with the price of a max bow.
Auctions on non max items

If I ever sell non max items, which I do, especially those that are -5 energy or +15/-1, I state it explicitly in my description as well as provide pics with the stats. It's just better to cover my own tail (feedback wise) if someone comes along and gives me negative stating it wasn't max.

I got ripped off for 80k on one of these non max items, and since I started paying attention.. (wish I had sooner), I have noticed there are more than ever, non max floating around and people are asking max prices for them. A LOT of 14-28 Bows, so..thanks for the reminder of doom ^^
