I'm really not sure of the deal with pricing unided items. Im sure i remember seeing a guide to it on here somewhere but cannot find it, and with the ever reliable search facility, well...

Also i am aware that max gold fellies have increased in drops, so am also not sure how much this has effected their price.

Any way you knowlegable lot. How much for:

Gold Max Req 8 Fellblade (Unid)

Thanks in advance,

Well if u got it after the last update i would take the chance to ID it... golds are much better now. But it's really up to you, I take no responsibilities

lol i had already ided it before reading your last post. Wish i hadnt though, would've got more for the unid. I am now the proud owner of a poisonous fellbade of swordsmanship!

Swordsmanship mod is perfect so thats nice but no inherent mod and ill bet when i try and get the swordsmanship mod off all i get is a bunch of iron or the poisonous hilt. Though the iron would probably be more useful than the crappy hilt!

thats why you can get unident weapons cheap. poeple can test them before they sell them. in other words, they know the stats of the weapon BEFORE its id'ed. thats prob. why the price guide for unident was removed. so the moral of the story is....dont buy unident

Whoa! hold on there.

You mean a unident weapon will function the same as it would when it has been id'ed? Not just the 15-22 bit, but also all the other upgrades and inherent mods??

Now that is something i really didnt know. Learn something new everyday i guess.

Well Mr Scroched Buttocks, i am super glad you brought that to might attention. Thank you very much. With a lesson learned, my new crappy fellblade doesnt seem quite so crappy any more.

Yes the weapon works in the same way, Idded or not. That's why people can test them before... for example, try to equip the next one you find; you might see your health will increase, or you will have some kind of nrg/health deg (vamp-zealous). Some other mods might be harder to find out, like the exact % of sundering or the +xx% dmg mods... still there are some people who are pretty good at it.

This is very interesting indeed.

Though yes i suppose the exact figure of say inherent damage mods is tricky to work out, the presence/absence of a mod worth id'ing the weapon for is easy peasy to tell. When there isnt such a mod present, just sell unid and make a tidy profit that you wouldnt get if you had id'ed.

From now on i shall look on all unid sellers with a large amount of suspiscion. Those sneaky devils!

I dont agree that this sort of thing should be possible though. If your wep is unid its unid and you should only get the basic stats; the additional mods only coming into effect upon id'ing.

not everyone is a tester.... some don't know about it, but honestly i'd say MOST are now, and it used to be that if it was gold it was a higher chance of junk anyway... but now gold unids found after the update are usually quite nice... but I wouldn't recommend buying unids at all
