Ok, I want to know, why on earth do Alliance Battles take several minutes to start (usually)? I guess I should state that I'm Kurzick. Anyway, is there a lack of Luxons doing Alliance Battles? Is there some sort of limit on the number of Alliance Battles allowed to go at one time? I just want to know if any knows why it takes soooo loooooooong for them to start. :/
The shear number of "No opposing party, restarting countdown timer." messages is insane.
I know many people feel many different ways about how Alliance Battles have changed during the FPE, there is an excellent thread for that in the Sardelac Sanitarium called "12v12 is ruined..." and I'd prefer comments of that variety to not invade this thread. I'm purely wondering WHY they take so long to start.
Question about Alliance Battles in relation to the waiting for beginning time.

that timer is there for exactly the same reason it's there in the Random Arenas: It's waiting for your opponents to load properly. As for the "No opposing party" message, well, it's just that. There's not enough people to do it if you get that message.
All I can say is try to play at peak hours, you should have better luck then.

There isn't generally a lack of people in Fort Aspenwood on either side, and it still gives that message. From what I've heard, there are only a limited amount of games that can be going on at any time. That seems to be the case, as I get in whenever a team gets out either congratulating each other or whining about somebody not skipping the cutscene.
