PvE ranger second profession R/Mo vs R/W
NJudson
I finally made it to Droknars with my ranger (R/N) and I want to change my second profession. I have almost never used the necro skills and I want to change to either a monk or warrior. I guess my main reason for monk is to have a reusable rez skill and maybe heal as well, but mostly reusable rez. I would like to have warrior as well because I think it would be fun. I know I can try them both out to see which I like, but I was hoping to get other peoples opinions from their own experiences.

As a ranger, you should never be healing others or carrying hb to heal yourself. Troll > Healing Breeze. You should just do all the secondary profession quests in the desert.. R/Me for forest farming FoW, R/W for balanced stance+charge when running, R/Mo for running buffs such as holy veil, smite hex, purge conditions. i suggest going R/Mo as the missions get a bit harder at THK(because of the damn pugs)
either ways, you can't really go wrong when you can change them back and forth repeatedly

r/w when u tire of using bows and want some good old bashing.
r/mo is mainly for the rebirth and easier running.
for me, i always play as r/w though rebirth helps sometimes when the party is dead and ur the last one alive. monk skills i need for running are mending, purge conditions and holy veil. so usually i change my secondary when i need it.

I recently changed my seccond profession from monk to warrior. I can solo the Wailing Lord's Forest with him and have fun with a sword too
. (Whenever I feel like it.)
Also, you can do droks runs with a R/W.
