Question about character customization.

Hello,

I bought Guild Wars Factions today, without having played the first Guild Wars before, and started creating a Roleplaying character, however I wasn't pleased with the hair style and face options avaliable. Then I took a look at the PvP-Only characters, and they had very different hair/face options, some that I liked a lot. So my question is: Is there a way I can use the hair/face options avaliable to PvP-Only character in a Roleplaying character?

Thanks!

PvP characters have the exact same styles of roleplaying characters. I'm guessing you're looking at the Tyrian styles from the first chapter, which you don't get to use being a Factions-only player.

Thanks for the reply.

So, the styles I can choose on the PvP-Only mode are actually from the first Guild Wars? I assume there's no way I can use them in the Factions campaign then, even if I buy the first Guild Wars?

Thanks again.

For Roleplaying characters, you can only have the style of your homeland; for Prophecies, they can only have a Tyrian look, and Factions can only have a Canthan look.

You can transfer a character between continents later on if you have both Prophecies and Factions, but a Tyrian character won't have access to a few early missions and quests that Canthans get, and vice versa.

Ah, I see! That explains it well.

Thanks again Savio!
