Is concentrating on Critical Strikes worth it?

I`ve been looking at assassins, and they have alot of skills that are based on critical strikes. But, I`ve bought 2 of them. One was the one that increases ur chances of landing one, and it is elite, and the other one that gives u +5% of landing one. But, I don`t really notice any difference when I use them. I don`t do much damage when I combine them with my usual attacks.

Am I doing something wrong, or are Critical Strikes just not worth it?

yes, i think it is, cause you can use them to gain energy, and health. (plus a little more damage dealt)

on the critical eye (i think thats the name) you land a critical and you gain energy. and on the way of perfection, you land a critical and you gain health. so you can combine them with other skills. i for one have my critical at 10 and put some other into dagger mastery...

Speccing into Critical Strikes on an assassin is roughly as valuable as speccing into Expertise on a ranger: you get good energy management, and you get some great skills to go with it.

That said, Twisting Fangs is just sweet, and Critical Eye and Way of Perfection are good standard skillbar fodder. Also, critical strikes 13 is about right, since then you get the maximum +3 energy gain from a critical hit (4 with crit eye).

i just love it when a critical strike dual attack hits (10 energy) and you get 10 energy back for it with 13 critical hits, critical eye and a zealous dagger

2x(+1+1+3)=10 energy......awsome

It's even better if that dual attack is Death Blossom... Everything around you is just annhiliated.
