Firstly, I apologize if someone has posted a similar technical problem, but its somewhat late for me and i just can't be bothered checking (but if someone could point me to a thread with the solution it would be much appreciated).
While on an instanced map (be it mission or just an explorable area), my Guild Wars client just crashes (usually happens in the midst of combat, but it has happened at other times).
Back in Prophecies (before Factions was released, circa: summer '05) it had happened, but those were few and far between. But with Factions (on both sides of the game, Factions and Prophecies),this makes its nigh unplayable.
System Specs
Windows XP Professional SP2
Soyo K7VM333 motherboard
AMD Athlon XP 3000+ ~2.2Gig
512 DDR RAM
Sapphire Radeon 9600 Atlantis (AGP, 256 megs)
Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit
I've attached a copy n' paste of the error detail.
Oh and I know my amount of RAM isnt ideal, so no need to remind me
if there are any other questions, i'll try to answer them tommorrow.
Thanks in advance~

I'd say it's an issue with your RAM. You could try running some mem tests like prime95, or MEMTEST86, and see if any errors occur. I could be wrong, but that's what it looks like on the error log.

Yeah, remember though, you need to run the most RAM intensive tests in P95 repeatedly, and / or repeated MemTest. As they both take bits of your RAM at a time, so to test it all you have to test repeatedly.

well, guess i'l have to get that old floppy drive i neglected to put in on this pc for memtest to work.
I'm slightly at a loss as to how to use PRIME95, if someone could give me a short explanation, i'll try it out tommorrow.
any other program alternatives to the two taht were mentioned?

Er, read the Memtest page, you can dowload an ISO which will burn into a bootable CD. Just put it in a drive, restart the computer and when it boots to the CD, Memtest will automatically start (so long as your BIOS is set to boot from CD's first). All you have to do is let it run for a good while.

It might not be the memory but Factions server related. I have been getting dropped once in a while, never was dropped for Prophecies? Ever since I started playing Factions it has happened a number of times.
My system:
AMD FX57
Abit motherboard 2000 fsb
ATI X1800xt 512mb
2 Gig... Corsair dual channel ddr
I ran no problems until Factions has come out.. try updating drivers?.. maybe it could be something like that too?... My ISP is fine I notice a lag.. wait like 2 mins then it says GW has dropped me due to loss of connection.. eventhough I havent lost my internet connection.. I believe its server related...

Yes, there is instructions on the memtest86 page that shows you how to create a bootable floppy or ISO image for burning onto a bootable CD-ROM. You could also try memtest86+, it has some added support for different memory types. Same situation though, bootable floppy or CD-ROM.
You could also try the idea that mysteriously fixes some things... turn off the computer, unplug everything, take the RAM out and simply re-seat it back in the memory bank(s). Works wonders sometimes, but I wouldn't expect much.

Thanks Matsumi
