GwG search doesnt search..? ><

when i try to search for something like.. "Oni" n o t h i n g comes up even if there are like 5 threads right on the first page labeled "perfect Oni blade " or something like that .. even if it says " oni " in the thread .. its very annoying .. >_< i dont wanna have to go thru hundreds of pages to find 1 item..

Oni is too small a word to search for. Try being more specific, such as searching for "Oni Blade" (I tried that and got a successful search) or "Oni skills" or whatever it is you are interested in.

That is, of course, if the search is actually up

then i just get victos and shadow blades -_-

Yes, search is somethinng we are striving for. Right now, with search disabled we are at a load of 50 (if anyone knows something about servers anything over 20 is bad). We are trying to work on some solutions (you'll see some downtime today sporadically as well... this would be us working on the load issues).

I apologize again that we can not enable search right now. I know how difficult it is to find posts that you have made, looking for answers and more but this is a continuing issue that we are working on.

whats even worse than the search engine (which is really anyoing, because if you ever ask a question everyone says use search, but you cant) is the fact the guild wars guru runs sooo slowly, i know there are like 1,000 people using it at once, but it really takes over 30 seconds sometimes to load a page, and i'm on broadband, i'd hate to be a 56k'er veiwing the forums, as you'd be here for eterinty.

We aren't the only one addressing such problems. GuildWiki.org has it's share of downtime, try visiting GWOnline.net right now and you'll find the same problems. These are issues that are continually worked on.
