Recently my guild (wee free men) and I invented a little game called dodgeball, posted details of how to play it here along with a video and suddenly it seems to have taken off. Half of my friends list has changed its name to "xxxx dodgeballs" and dodgeball matches were going on on observer mode today. So with that in mind we're going to run a 4 v 4 dodgeball tournament.

How do you play dodgeball?
Each team rolls 4 mesmer/elementalists with 16 fast casting, and 12 air magic. They take 5 superior fast casting runes, which drops their health to 105.
This means that 1 lightening orb (85 damage + armor penetration) deals 108 damage, killing a player in one hit.
The mesmers have only 4 skills, lightening orb, air attunement, elemental attunement and windborne speed.
The flag stand serves as a mid point and no team is allowed to cross the flag stand, teams must toss orbs at eachother from their side until the opposing team is DPed out. Should Victory or death occur, all rules are off, players may move freely across the flag stand until one team is knocked out or the guild lord is dead.
Signing up
Teams will compete as guilds, so if a guild signs up to the tourny they can only have one team, but that team can consist of different guild members each match.
If your guild is interested in entering the tournament leave its name in this thread, along with its guild tag and it'll be added to the list.
Referees
Each game will be observered by 2 referees, 1 on either team.
Each referee will be an Ele with ob flame and glyph of energy.
If a player crosses the flag stand they will be asked to move back, if they cross the flag stand and make a kill, they will be ob flamed.
If a player out right cheats they will be disqualified.
Equipment Required
All mesmers should wear enchanters armor, with 5 superior fast casting runes attatched, every mesmer should have a SWORD with 20% enchant mod, and a 20/20 air artifact offhand. No items or armor should give health or +armor.
Playing the matches
Matches will take place in the Wee Free Mens guild hall, and one member of WFM will join each match to play referee. If a guild should break the rules they'll be disqualified from the tournament.
Prizes?
Prizes will probably be in the form of a currently undecided amount of gold. Donations to the prize fund would be more than appreciated.
