I may sound stupid, but is it possible to change the second profession to one of the new classes availible after buying factions? If so, how?

There is an NPC named Senji (or something like that) after two or three missions into Factions that will allow you to change your secondary.

after you beco me way no sui (something like that, you'll see what it means later) you'll get to an outpost with a proffesion changer, he'll charge 500g for each proffesion you havent been before, but once you've paid him for that proffesion its free.

That's helpful, thanks. I have just got to dragon's throat with my tyrian character, but would like ritualist as her second profession. Any idea what to do to get into that outpost from there?

this should really be in canthan explorers now, but just keep following the primary quest, you'll get there soon.
