I am no longer accepting any new character submissions. I have enough, thank you.

I'm working on my first web comic and I'm in need of characters to populate the story. It's based loosely on the GW Prophecies world, is in anime/manga style (since it's quickest for me to do), and will be mostly black and white. I need you to submit your best characters. They need to have these things to qualify for being in it:

Name: Nothing like X Killa War X, Chaos Zealot, or Derek Deathblade, but something more normal for a name. For example, my own three characters I'm using are Kessa Valarion (Main Character

), Serra Amastacia, and Eva Delecroix.

Age & Height: -

Armor: You favorite set of armor for your character (This WILL be changed some from the original)

Temperment and Attitude: Self explanatory

Quick History: Along with where and how the person grew up, I need something to explain why the person is the way they are, expanding on the Temperment and Attitude portion.

Portrait Screenshot: I need a large bust shot of your character (face and shoulders similar to my avatar). DO NOT just take a close-up screen from in game and post it. I dont want large images on this thread. Crop it with paint if you have to, but don't post full screens.

Age & Height (i just want to say age=n00b) mid 20's and short (not dwarf short around 5'6'')

Armor: Pyromancers (the 15k type)

Temperment and Attitude: thinks hese GWs greates nuker but uses a bow and other ranger skillz. gets pissed off if someone does the slightest thing wrong

Quick History: born and raised (well didnt put much into that part) in a rich family that said you can do anything you put your mind to becuse our family is rich. then his parents bet all the miney on a poker game and lost and little Donte ran away to learn the art of elementing to kill his parents.

Name: Leon Ux-ixen

Age & Height 20 about 5,11

Armor:Black 15k druid's vest, blue Fissure pants, Green Fissure boots and Collctor leather gloves. Green mask one of the ripped once. Weilds a cherry wood red bramble Longbow

Temperment and Attitude: He belives himself to be a deadly archer and protector of life. He is silent and compassionate he bares little humor. He quick to act and very dexteries.

Quick History: Born in the Falls of Muggma Jungle his unamed village was attacked by the White Mantel when he was young after his father died he took his father's bow and ran to Kyrta. He lived in the woods by himself with a wolf named Kagei(shadow). Once he reach Kyrta he made way to Ascalon where he would hope to start a new life. When the war began he admired Rurik's courage and ideals and swore allegences to him.(only reason he made it to the last mission was to advenege Rurik)

I havn't upload any new picks yet but here he is with his 15k vest before i found the black dye.

Name: Ankara Nightsear

Age & Height: 19, around 5'4"

Armor: 15k Undyed Ascalon Helmet with the rest 15k Undyed Gladiator's armor. Wields a Wingblade and a Tall Shield.

Temperment and Attitude: Out-going and sometimes carefree. Loves to play around which leads to trouble sometimes. Ankara cares for those who are close to her. But she doesn't have much close friends. She hates people who rushes in and arggos ALL the monsters in the area and brings it to the casters.

Quick History: Born in Amnoon Oasis, she was the few who were lucky and fortunate enough to escape from the Hell-hole it was. When Ankara and her family arrived in Ascalon, they settled in the hills of Riverside where most of her life took place until the Searing that is. The Searing had taken everything, her family, house, and friends. She sought refuge in Old Ascalon where she trained in the profession of the Warrior to avenge her shattered past.

Temperment and Attitude: Due to recent events Darius has grown reckless and targets all his skills on himself making it difficult to find anyone willing to travel with him.

Quick History: Born in Ascalon City Darius was one of the many brave men and women who helped defend his homeland from the Charr invasion. Although his many victories were not without a great loss. His younger sister Jaina was to have fled with her mother to the Nolani Academy but it is said that they never arrived. Now he is hellbent on seeking revenge on any and all Charr he finds.

Temperment and Attitude: Kind and generous, unlike her brother, Jaina would do whatever she could to save anyone in danger.

Quick History: Born in Ascalon Jaina is the sister of Darius Anushe. During Darius' fight to defend the great city of Ascalon Jaina and her mother were told to flee incase the Charr breach the walls. They were supposed to meet Darius at Nolani Academy but Jaina thought it would be safer if they fled to the mountains and are now residing in Yaks Bend hoping Darius would find them.

Name: Ashton Evelgest

Age & Height: 27, 6" 1'

Armor: 15k Ascalon Helm (Dyed White), 15k Gladiator's (Dyed Blue, Boots <-White)

Temperment and Attitude: a calm, chill yet somewhat stern character who can't stand the incompetence of other party members. He tries to set a good example for younger warriors.

Quick History: Born into the prestigious Evelgest family, Ashton was carefree, energetic, and lively as a child yet when his father, the ruler of the state, was murdered by a distant relative and the throne usurped, Ashton and his siblings (Alana, Rina, Reno) were exiled from their homeland. The four struggled to survive until they met Sensei Noriyasu, a traveling monk, who understood their situation and their desire to seek revenge. Ashton learned the ways of the warrior from the monk, and the group journeyed to Ascalon, where they began to seek the aid of others. Before the group could leave, they were caught under the fire of the Charr invasion. Displaying his ability as a leader, Ashton led his forces to victory after victory until the nefarious Charr sieged and destroyed Ascalon. Separated from the rest of the group during the searing, Ashton constantly battles in hopes of one day finding his family…

Temperment and Attitude: Considerate of other peoples feelings. Assertive in his mind set always letting others know what he's thinking. Can be secretive about certain aspects of his past.

Quick History: Urth grew up in Shing Jea Monastary after being abandoned by his parents. He studied heavily in the area of divine prayers amongst that of healing and protection to enhance their potential. Urth grew curious of the outside world wondering around the lands of Cantha for weeks at a time without word to th monastary. Always returning to the place he called home. Of course Master Togo would some times be disgruntled by this behaviour. More because Urth never told anyone where he wondered to. However, he grew more empathetic and confident in his decisions as he grew into a young man. Urth later traveled to Tyria to see his old friend Mhenlo at Serenity Temple but also to fulfill his unsatisfiable hunger for exploration of different places.

Armor: 1.5 Luxon Dyed Green, can have a 15k Duids top If it fits better for you.

Temperment and Attitude: A quiet source of wisdom, has a confident, reflective attitude to the world. Even though he is quiet he can act a bit selfish and aloof of others.

Quick History: Selerious's family lived in Surmia and were part of the Nobility that ruled the city. Having Two older brothers, his family left him alone to fill his time with whatever he wanted, which helped in the end as Selerious was extremely intellegent and from a very young age filled himself with the knowledge of the libraries of Surmia. In search of a place to digest the many books he had read in the years of living within the city, Selerious withdrew to a small villa situated near Fort Ranik for the few months to the searing. After the Searing, his family lying dead under the ruins of Surmia. Selerious set out for Rin, feeling that his knowledge could be of some use.

Oh wow. Thank you all for the responses. I wan't looking for too many people, so I think I need to ask that nobody else post. I think this is enough. Thank you all and from what I've read, everything is great, including your names.

It may be a while before I get to putting you in the story. I have to figure out where you'll fall in the whole scheme of things, but you will be in it. I'll be starting work soon and I have other obligations, but I'll try to work on the comic as much as possible. I'll post when I get the first few pages up.

Ok, I have most of the cover worked out in pencil and ink and I should have it scanned and completed in b&w by Monday. Just so you all know, as I stated before, I will be changing the look of the armor and weapon(s) your characters use. Some may be minor changes, and some, like the secondary character on my cover, may be totally revamped. Don't worry though, I won't make your character look bad. One reason im doing this is because of the ease of drawing issue. If your character is complex to draw, he/she won't be drawn as much as I'll be dreading all the detail, although I did get kind of over-zealous with secondary characters armor. (It's not difficult to draw, thank god

)

Also, I don't like to skimp on quality. If I don't like the way something looks, I change it or scrap it and start over. So some pages may take longer than others.

The cover is complete, well, sort of. It's only in b&w right now but I thought everyone ought to see it anyway. I didn't include either of the two character's shields cause it would have crowded the pic. Each character was drawn separately and merged using photoshop. I don't have a tablet, so I'll be doing all the coloring and shading with a mouse (as with all further pages). Enjoy!

I just realized both, My warrior and your's are the same in apperance besides height so you might want to add some differences between the two.

Riplox told me that everyone who posted before the cutoff will be at one point included in the comic. But it depends if Riplox can integrate the characters into the plotline.. <--which is pretty good, I might add.

Yes, all the characters before the "cutoff" as it's now called will be implemented in some way. I'll try to give each of you some decent page time.

my ranger I deleted so now he has the one hairstyle that has longhair with a ponytail in the back. Kina like Que-Gon-Jin's hair in Starwars 1 just dark brown. Only difference. Just thought you should know.

Actually...I'm redesigning the ENTIRE look of the cover and art style. I wasn't really happy with it and it's now going to be more in line with the American comic book style (although I've never really drawn much of it, I'll give it a go).
