I am imo sick and tired of people farming, especially botting in Elona Reach. Sure Botting is against the rules and it's not like i support it, but i find nothing against farming...either farm...play each mission in the game * 100 or Ebay... and sad to say it guys but Ebay is against the game rules. But my MAIN POINT is people complaining about how farmers/botters are ruining the economy. Let me say that they MAKE UP THE ECONOMY. Without the surplus gold/materials coming in from these farmers ecto prices would still be off the roof, many people would not have the materials to buy their armor...which would cost more anyway and also there would be no SURPLUS gold in the economy, people would get just the amount of money they needed to get the stoff they want and then continue playing the game, with farmers bringing surplus gold/materials into Tyria and Cantha we actually have a trade channel that is used much more often.
-i nowhere near support botters so dont flame 4 that.
Sick of people Complaining about Bots in Elona Reach...

Tired of seeing all the complaining as well. Vet gamers know bots are never going to go away and accept them as part of the game.
Btw, bots don't effect ecto at all. Real players farm ecto. The nightmares are too much of an X factor for bots.
The did affect rare weapon and mod price but with the quality increase that will quickly fade away.

So when noone has the money to pay what is being asked for the ectos, shards and other expensive items, what do you think will happen?
Thats right, the price will come down.
I dont understand to be honest, I farm for the gear I need. I will never completely understand how people simply farm non-stop for cash..If you think about it its really only for one thing, sale on e-bay.
People WILL begin to sell things at lower prices when noone can pay them.
When the merchant offers more than a player is willing to pay, the price on the merchant will lower itself..you see what happens...?
So yes, botting DOES ruin the economy and is.
And it IS againts the rules.
I Like the disconnect thingey. you would become disconnected from GWs if you were inactive for a certain amount of time. Why was this removed?
Seemed like a good thing at the time
20mins seems good. Imagine someone who gets into a thunderhead keep group for miss then goes afk after 5mins...they would stop doin that heh.
BRING BACK THE DISCONNECT *raises fist* LOL

Ahh, I love this. You have the "Anti-bot farmer" threads, and then you have the "Anti-people-who-complain-about-bot-farmer" threads. Both equally pathetic.
To the above poster, they enter the mission, farm the 10-15 Minotaurs there, map back into the town and sell everything to the merchant. What's interesting is they all follow the exact same path, walking along the edge of the wall(while sometimes stopping and starting) as they make their way toward the merchant. It's definitely a sight to see, you should check it out.
Perhaps this should be considered among the 7 wonders of Tyria?

The only thing worse than complaining, is complaining about complainers. Nothing useful can come out of this.
