Troll Farming Isn't Exclusive Anymore...

Hmm...mountain troll farming...you'd think taking on a whole mob of lvl 24 monsters would be pro's work...not anymore. I was able to kill all the trolls in the caves north of drok's with a level 17 elementalist/monk lol... Yes the ele was my first character. My only others are a lvl 10 n/r and a lvl 10 w/m. Post similar storys here

*shrug* to be fair the trolls can be soloed by anyone with a pulse. That's why the bots whack themm they require very little skill or thinking at at all. I can't stand to solo the things, it puts me into a catatonic state.

=P oh well lol...I did enjoy owning them though lol. Got a good max gold raven staff drop...salvaged to get a perfect insightful staff head or +29hp staff wrapping of fortitude...got wood planks instead...horray.

Farming Warrior mobs has never really been exclusive. It's not all that hard to exploit the weakness of vanilla melee baddies.

Yup, you can farm trolls with a lvl 10 ele assuming you had the right skills unlocked.

It may be easy, but it still feels good to watch your character knock down 12-16 huge trolls all at once. Good job OP! =)

I have a Mesmer I want to level up and I could never figure out a build that can kill the trolls as fast as Warriors, Monks, or Eles (who has always been able to destroy large mobs of melee enemies). Does anybody know a good troll farming build for Mesmers? Or does anybody know a good running build for Mesmers to do Supplies for Luxon?

I used to farm trolls and avacara at level 15 with my W/E. It's not hard. I was even in Yak's Bend armor, if you can see that Although I did have Armor of Earth.

my mo/me10 can 55 them, just takes some time when zealots only does 8 damage

honestly i have soloed the trolls on 5 characters starting at lvl 10.
just go monk secondary, get a run to the towns you need.
level in gates of kryta 3-9.5.... then go to drok get max armour and work out 3 attacks. with enough energy to stay alive. and play ack ack attack for 10 levels.or 2 days and usually go to do the desert at level 14-15. ascending maxes you out.

Actually, trolls with a mesmer should not take more than 1 min 30 secs and is reasonably easy/boring.
