Why does my guild keep losing faction?

Ok, my guild continues to lose faction and I'm not quite sure why. We are the leaders of an alliance, and I was wondering if there was a way someone could be ruining our faction points.

Any ideas?

Do you lose faction over time?

Each day, you lose a percentage (10%) of your faction.
