Some Questions about Pre-Order pack etc.

Okay, I'm very new to all this, so please be gentle. I got the Collector's Edition of GWF along with the Pre-Order disc and am a little lost on a few things. Any help would be greatly appreciated... =o)

1. The code booklet that came with the Pre-Order pack has a code that enables Exclusive In-Game Items. I tried to input this code and it said it's invalid. So does anyone have any clue how I can get my exclusive pre-order items? ie. Where to input the code... (maybe I was in the wrong bit).

2. Another thing with the Pre-Order disc. I can't access anything but the Audio Tracks. I've had this before with Audio/Data discs, but the fixes usually worked aren't working on this one... =o( Any thoughts...?

3. The bonus soundtrack that came with the CE has a code on the back for free music through DirectSong. I couldn't find anything there aside from soundtrack, so is this code for music addons to be released in the future?

It kinda blows that you pony up the extra cash to get the CE, and the soundtrack you get is missing 4 bonus tracks from the downloadable DirectSong version... Some CE... The idea of 'Collector's' usually means you get all the bells & whistles, not ALMOST all of them... Oh well, still an awesome pack though, I'm just a soundtrack fan... =o)

I'll help as I can.

1: The code you're talking about is the Pre-Order key. You should enter it in just like any other key. You should be able to enter it in in the same way you enter a retail key. If it still tells you "Invalid", then I'd suggest writing a support ticket.

2: That's an odd problem. It may be because you have auto play disabled. Also, the disk is flash based. If you can't auto play the disk, then you could try activating the flash program directly by exploring the CD.

3: I don't have the CE myself, so take my information with a grain of salt. Maybe that code is to download the remaining portion of the bonus soundtrack. It's a possibility.

A couple of things I know about the CE: You get the extra dance option, which I think is accessed through /dancenew. There's also an extra item for you, via /bonusitems.

Also on the back of that soundtrack (EU version at least), below the bonus music key, is this text:
To download your exclusive new Guild Wars music, go to www.directsong.com/gwf and follow the instructions.

The tracks you download from there are not the bonus tracks included in Direct Song's Factions soundtrack.

I tried the code again and still no go... =o( Those two cool extras you mentioned are there with the CE, but I was after the Pre-Order Edition exclusive items. So I might try contact support. How do you write a support ticket?

I'm pretty sure the prob with not being able to read the Pre-Order disc is drive related, so I might try out my other 2 drives laying around...

I checked that url you gave me (www.directsong.com/gwf) and it worked! So thanks for that one. Guess I should have read that. Everywhere else I searched just kept saying 'free download from www.directsong.com', and there's no link for this special offer on the main site... So if the 8 tracks you can download aren't the bonus tracks, does that mean there are 32 tracks all up?

The four bonus tracks are only available on the Direct Song Factions soundtrack. 9 CE + 20 regular + 4 DS bonus = 33 different tracks.

Oops... Yeah, I meant 9, not 8 =o) That's still a little dodgy making people part with more cash to get the whole collection of songs... Oh well, gotta make their money somehow I guess...

Also, I got the Pre-Order key to work! Must have miss-typed it... =o) So now I got my 'exclusive items'.
