The sin in pve

People are mad, and will not heal and or take you in a group usually.

Basically it's like a sniper shooting somone in an angry mob, with no leader. Yeah you can pick one off, but there is still like a thousand left, and once they see you, you better run!!

The sin in pvp

I was watching gvgs all morning and i can say, yeah that looked perfectly natural.

The sins used AoD, beat the crap outta the target and ran. It wasn't one big unruly mob where horns of ox seems almost useless. It was actually pretty intresting seeing how the great combos that you want to do, work in pvp and don't in pve.

I think i might go pvp, i love my sin, but i still need to cap AoD... but either i am just saying they could work, but you pick off one part of the mob and more come, which is why some think the tanks that can keep rollin rollin roollin are better suited for the job.

Note* i dont mean to anger anyone, i like sins as much as you do, but i also can see that factions and those bloody pleague people are stacked against sins..

I find that the pop-in-pop-out doesnt generally work very well in pve. So I got for sustained DPS (low energy skills, high critstrikes) with a bit defense and a sprint skill.

Run to the backline of the mobs, and start picking them down.. monk -> rit -> mesmer/elementalist.. Works quite well.

Note that you could also use AoD instead of e.g. dash to get in and out, even though you dont do a spike hit.. Personally I find dash more handy for pve though.

I agree. I generally don't even use Dash since I like to run Return for beating hasty retreats and hate to tie up two slots for mobility skills. However, it's generally not a problem to simply run past the PvE mobs once they're showing the wars the love, and start opeing up cans of W.A. on the squishies.
