I'm not sure if this has been discussed and I'm not sure if this even works well, but here it goes:
When the tamer takes your pet off of you, you should receive some kind of compensation. He even specifically says that he has a friend who will basically buy pets off of him, so why are we being jipped? So according to the pet's level, we get a certain amount of money--not too much, maybe 3k at most for a lvl 20 pet and also maybe according to the pet's behavior(?)<--(elder, playful, etc.). It's just a little something for the time and effort you took to raise your pet. With more and more pets, in order to get a new one, you've gotta get rid of your old one. I had to give my lvl 20 bear away because I wanted a White Tiger..

Don't you get something like 100 gold for a level 20 already? Anyway, this would be way too easily farmable as you could just go cap one of those elder wolves or somesuch for a quick 3k.

well, it could be done maybe but its not really needed. The tamer is there so you can get rid of your pet so you have room for a new one. You don't really need to make any money.

I've traded in a few pets and the only time I ever got money was from level 20's and both times it was only 100g, so there's not much scope to make money from him.
