The search is down so this may already be around here somewhere, I looked and couldn't find anything.
I'm wondering if Zodiac bows are their own type or if the are like Ascolon Bows and u have to test it out to figure out what it is?
Dunno what to do with this one I got yesterday.
Zodiac Bows, act as Ascolon Bows?

I'm interested too, you could test it then, right? On the same ground...
Short: obvious. Aggro circle.
Flat: obvious (high arrow).
Recurve: obvious (low arrow).
Long = Flat's distance but lower arrow.
Horn Bow = Recurve's distance but higher arrow and longer motion.
From that, you can guess easily.

Zodiac = Stormbow = Longbow.
In my experiences at least.

Agreed, testing seemed to show LongBow

From that, you can guess easily. Just to correct you a bit, a longbow does not have the same range as a flatbow.
When I fire drago's flat at a stationary target and switch to my long, my char moves up several steps then fires again. This is also prevailant while solo farming the FoW forest. You can't stay out of spell range of shepards with a longbow, but only with a flatbow.

Longbow and Flatbow have the same range. You're likely using the -2 in stance 'longbow' which is actually a composite bow.

I had noticed the same thing while soloing the FoW forest. Thanks for clearing that up Huntmaster.

Your wrong, long bows and flat bows have the same range.
