guys i am curious whether you peeps prefer a wholly new gameplay and content or else just improvement on the current gameplay and content in the future chapter?
for me, if anet added a wholly new gameplay in the future chapter, although this will be refreshing and feel new to the current player, there is risk that some fans will left as they cannot adept to the new gameplay system.
But if anet merely improve on the current content and gameplay of GW in the future chapter, this might not cause enough hype among the players..
just some of my opinions..i would love to hear some comments from you peeps..
peace..
wholly new content? improvement on the current gameplay?

A.net is doing a great job as it is.

Anet will have to do both in order to really satisfy fans for the game. They will have to both expand of the gameplay that they already have and also introduce new kinds of gameplay that fit the game. It is a difficult task, especially given their emphasis on a balenced game, but it is one that anet will have to do in order keep people in the game. At least, that's my opinion.

As for the content, they have to play a balancing act with new and old. Not enough new stuff and we complain we're being ripped off; too radical a departure from what we're used to and there would be complaints that certain aspects had been nerfed/made unbalanced/destroyed.
Just look at the torrent of hatred following the recent MM balance to see how people can react to a relatively minor change!

huh? i was not making any post to flame anyway..
well, it is just a thought from me anyway..but i think it is better if anet implement the new changes not too radically..too much new changes will make the players feel that the game loses its element..
p.s: hopefully i did not make any grammar mistake this time..:P

The way ANet is doing it now is to make small changes along the way so people get used to them without too much complaint. If you look back on the original GUI even now you would see many changes, some good some perhaps not. Just think what we have now will look like in 3 years.

however, i think that there are quite some changes made to GW:F that high end level farming area like fow/uw/sf are removed (for this time, i do not sure if they are going to add any additional high area like those in future or not), instead fort aspenwood and jade quarry are added to encourage more pvp among the pve..the alliance system..alliance battle..mobs are added and difficulty are being jacked up, etc, etc..for me, there is quite a lot of changes made comparing to the original GW (which for me, is more dilute..hehe)..that lead to many ranting thread..i know that some complaint thread are made coz of bugs and glitches..but in my observation, there are some too are made coz the players cannot get acquainted to the changes made..
in addition, i also hope that anet will make their future chapter into something akin to a major update to GW only..=D
