Does anyone know if the mods are limited to a certain type of sword or axe? For example, I've seen plenty of -5 FDS I haven't seen them around on many other types of weapons. I use a -5 chaos axe myself but an upgrade would be nice.
More specifically do +5/-5 fellblades even exist? Some people ingame say yes but I've yet to actually see them... I need an HoD equivalent and an energy weapon hiding that looks nice on a monk.

im not 100% sure but i think the only +5 weapons are the ones which are craftable after last mission.

Yes +5 and -5 energy weapons exist as drops just got to be lucky. As for end of game theres a crafter for only +5 energy items.

If you are looking for a fellblade that has both +5energy and -5energy at the same time, then no. It will either be the +5 energy mod or the +XX%damage and -5energy mod.
But if you are looking for either +5 energy or -5energy, then yes.
IE:

or

i got a +5 ene Wicked Blade with 10/10 furious and +30hp req 11 outside of Brauer doin the Duel quest chest runs afterwards
