N/W Tank MM?

after getting factions, i have one spare slot, which i have decided to make as a nerco. thinking about necros ive seen, i once saw a N/W using a axe. i know that i like to use minions, so could i combind the 2 and make a MM that fights at the front with the minions?
it would have to work from the start of factions, and i dont want to spend too much money on armour
i was thinkin horrors, a golem later on, dark bond, botm
only problem is i have to spend attributes in axe or sword (hammer = no off hand for energy) i think axe is better
any ideas on skills and what to concentrate on in attribute points, and if the idea will acctually work

One of the reasons why minion masters are so effective is that their minions (in addition to dealing damage), soak up alot of hits from AI mobs. Therefore, running in and fighting at the front with them seems counterintutive at best.

The only reason you'd see a necro with an axe is either a) he doesn't know what he's doing or b) he's using it because it is a FFS with a +enchant mod.

yeah he is right about it in factions their will be bosses that deals holy damage to you and if you go to the front you will certainly be killed in secs.

well i disagree. i have ran n/w before (not mm also mind you) and they work out pretty well. the ability to use touch skills is nice and throw in a gaze or 2 is really fun. it is more a entertaining class for me but it did farm a bit of faction back in the day.

i like the idea, a mm with stances think of it this way waqrrior runs up and starts slashing hit bonettes or glads defense ftw

Don't forget Infuse Condition and Dark Bond in combo with Golem gives you renewable damage reduction.
