Ghial's Staff ~ The PC Controversy

It's probabyly one of the most controversial new Green weapons to price. Some say it's not even worth 100k, while other are saying it's worth as much as 100k +50ectos. Me Personally I say right at 100k 15 ectos ( and I have sold one for that.

It's a beautiful weapon and arguebly the best thing for MM Necros there is. It's even better than Bortaks when you put it to the test. And if Bortaks Cesta and Claw together add up to 150k, then why isn't Ghial's worth that much as well? It's an arguement beign played outall around.

What are the thoughts of everyone here? What is a reasonable price for this staff, that is good for the buyer and seller? They can obviously be sold for 100k+15ectos like I say it's worth, but is it worht more? or is it worth way less?

hell i can make that staff for under 70k. its just a collector death staff with death wrapping +1 and +5 energy head. 50k imo

if you can get 100k and 15 ectos take it imo... these are always overprices the first few weeks... ragos flame staff was like 300-400k when it first came out , now it's 50k.... i'd say 50-70k myself..... but get what you can

that it is, and can be made, but at the same time yu don't have to find/get the Insightful or the Death+1 MOD either.
putting those MODS on here makes it well worth over 100k.

+1 Death is 100-150k dpending it's the most expensive skill mastery upgrade.
The Insightful is only about 10-20k

but you put those together and the value sky rockets. As I said it's Bortaks all in one.
So when you do the math the value of it is up there quite a bit, unless you can hopefully farm for the right upgrades you need.

eh I've seen tons of death wrappings, it's called increased drop rate... and they are never above 100k... they sell for 30-50k now and some even lower.... (and don't start talkin crap about that or i'll start showing screen shots and auctions where they barely hit 30k)

and I can find a +5 energy for 5k pretty easy... (once again increased drop rate)

makes 30 + 5 + 2 = 37k

you can easily make that staff for 50-70k imo... even less without too much trouble now..

no green is worth more then 25k imo

just sold another one. 5ectos lower than what I wanted, but 100k+10ectos is a good sale

Well, generally all of the new necro staffs with the same specs for their respective magics are goin for 70k each, Milthuran's for blood and The Stonereaper for curses are both 70k from what I've seen. I wouldn't be surprised to see these goin for the same. Then again, why would you worry if such an amazin weapon went for 70k rather than 150k+ ? . Plus as Stuey said you could just make your own, although I recently bought a Milthuran's and Ghial's myself, but I could afford it .

70-90k sounds more than generous, in my opinion, for a staff almost equivalent to one that can be recieved bare for under a few plat.

I would like to congratulate you on your 100k + 10 glob sale, but, in my opinion, you really did make off like a bandit

Well, in all truths, I think is all has to do with "Supply and Demand"
This staff is still new and those who have found it and farmed it, usually want ot keep it. I mena it's damn good for their MM char. So fo those who haven't been able to obtain it, it's hard to find a seller. So of course seeing one for sale period, even with a high price tag, makes it appealing. It's the same reason the Bortak's set it expensive. Supply and Demand. Alot of peopel want htem, but not alot are being sold. Once alot more are up for grabs, I can see the prices shooting down, but for now it's a good way to make a buck

how is this staff better?

forget 90k you can get a bortaks and make that spiral wand from the weapon crafter near Togo in the first mission for ~80 plat.

~70k highest imo

i would rather make one tbh. who cares if it is more or less expensive its all about being able to call out i am wielding insightful dead staff of death magic greens are for nubs anyway.

farm 5 mino horns in 5 mins
+5 nrgy is like 5k now
+1 20% death is like 30-50k ish

meh...I like the name Bortak's Bone Cesta...it just has a nice sound

I wish we could name our weapons...like at a weapon's guy..pay 10k and type something in.
