I wouldn't be surprised if it was sneakily removed at the point where farming was at an all time low due to questing in Factions and so on. I'll do it with my mesmer and report back on it.

Well i've turned my second account into storage, pending the release of character slots ... and i noticed it was active (and completed but not rewarded) on my ele. I went and turned in the reward and got the -50 cesta.

This was yesterday or the day before, so unless they've done something recently it's still there.

Seems like this rumor comes up about once every two weeks.

When it finally comes true, I probably won't believe it.

Indeed, I see it all the time, and I probably won't believe it if it ends up true either.
