Anyone else having trouble finishing this. I've been in 5 PuG's and spent the best part of a day waiting (mesmers arn't the first choice for any mission) to get this mission done. Asside for it getting boring now its a waste of 2.5 hours (ish).

I cant say that i've been in bad teams in fact the oppersite oftern we have multiple monks, MM, tank ect and none of the assasin rush in.

Like i said anyone else having trouble or has anyone got a tip how to do this mish easy?

Take the east path. Have competent monk(s) with at least a copy of heal party. If you still have trouble, bring someone that carries ward of stability. You should have no troubles at that point.

After you get the urn, take the center or left path. Either one is much easier than the right path.

Heal Party, on monks or secondary monks. Just watch out for the rumble that precedes an interrupt.

Be ready for Oni. They like to popup just after the areas where the ceiling falls every second, so your team stops there and fights. Don't do that. Move further forward or backward.

At the end, approach the door slowly so you don't break out more enemies than necessary. In particular, two stone guardians are right next to the door. I believe they're monks, using some smiting and Reversal of Fortune.

A good chunk of the damage at the end comes from the Stone Rain enemies, who primarily use Stone Daggers and Shockwave. Keep most of your group well back and Shockwave isn't an issue, and I'm sure a Mesmer can find some way to mitigate a 1sec spam skill like Stone Daggers. The other major damage source is the Warrior boss. The rest can be covered by Heal Party.

I thought the center is the easiest. I drove straight through the wardens with henchies. If your using a henchies only party, DO NOT DIE AT THE STAIRS WHERE THE ONI APPEAR. They dropped rare oni daggers, but I died, and the stupid collapsing cathedral kept interrupting my healer and spirit henchmen. I forgot to make this complaint, but it drops on them every 3 seconds, which is not enough to complete a resserection chant or flesh of my flesh. Basically my henchies defeated the Oni and stone dudes, but I couldn't get up and finish the mission. how friggin gay. and I lost the gold oni daggers -_-

but seriously, I think wardens are easiest.

I completed arborstone with hench taking the center path. Just be careful not ot agro to many wardens/oni at one time. It is important to get out of the areas where the ceiling falls more often.
Also, you do not have to fight the enemies at the end. Just charge up the urn to lvl 5 with the damage from the ceiling and rush the door. The npc (forgot her name) should begin a spell to open the door when you get near enough.

but seriously, I think wardens are easiest. Thats what i kept finding also trying to fight oni when your constantly getting interupted aint the easyest thing. Oni on their own are easy its when your whole party gets KD every 3 secs and they can just lay into you with chain after chain of skills.

but anyway i've done it now (7th attempt)

If you know how to control henchies it ain't that bad. Pugs tend to want to fight wherever the ceiling comes down on em hardest :S

In my opinion, left side is the easiest. Then it's the middle and then the right. I just recently did this mission with my mesmer. Didn't take too long for me to get into a group. Just keep advertising yourself or invite yourself to groups looking for more members. Someone will eventually pick you up. Just start your own group. The key is don't be shy as there is nothing to be shy about. You won't have a hard time getting into groups as mesmer. From what I've seen recently, assassins are the ones having a difficult time getting into groups as more people find them to be a "nuisance" rather than being productive to the group.

I echo what some people say, I just don't think its said enough because groups keep doing it. Do not stop to fight in the hallways where the ceiling falls more often. Ya, we think that its simple to understand here, but in the game with PUGs people are still doing it. If I go back now and help people there I try to tell the team about those areas before we start out. I tell them to either keep running through or run back out of it and lure those Oni to you.

Anyways, I will take a mesmer into my group any day. If more people would just understand what a mesmer can do they would be allowed into any group. But it seems that the "finesse" of the game is gone and people want pure, raw damage output. I don't understand that but it seems to be what every PUG wants now days.
