hey folks,
I was the leader of the guild Crazy Camel Humpers [HUMP], as some of you might allready know we got banned. We were in the top 50 rank and then we figured out that our name was offensive to Anet. Well you can imagine how mad we were, what do you guys think? Is crazy camel humpers offensive ? Do you think Anet should tell you when your making a guild that the name could be seen as offensive and could be banned? But we have remade to a new guild and will soon be back into our rank once the ladder resets.

There was already a thread on this, and 2 other banned guilds, though that one was closed too.
Please don't start this up again. Every time a guild gets banned, a thread is made about it, and it's always the exact same thing.
One group is adamant that it's not offensive in any way, and say that others need a sense of humour, one group refuses to believe it's inoffensive, and one group doesn't care either way, but tells everyone else to suck it up. (Either or both the banned group and the people who find it offensive.)
In the end, for the most part, it doesn't matter. We the players have minimal say over what goes on in the game, though Anet does often take our statements into advisement.
That being the case, and that these topics, since the dawn of Guild Wars, dating back to the BWE's, tend to get nothing positive accomplished, while becoming a place for a flame war between dissenting groups, this is closed.
