Does anyone know where I can find the system they use to compute the guild ratings for the guild ladder? I would like to learn more about it.

I have no idea, but this site has ladder ranking of guilds. I do know if you loose your get -28. No clue about winning, my guild never won .

It's not true that you get -28 for all losses. It varies, depending on the rank of the guild you fight. At least, that's what is apparent to me from experience.

If your guild is about to lose and everyone in ur team leaves before you lose you can get a minimum loss of only 6

Well, it's worth a try, lol. What i'm talking about is a SPECIFIC ranking system that they use to calculate it. It has some name, but I forgot what it is.

We left once in a GvG and got -29 (we left because one of us got a disconnect and we knew we couldn't win and didn't want to waste ours and theirs time)

And once our enemy left, we got a +19

So I doubt the 6 is true. We never won or lost 6 points...

It's a modified ELO system.

Short answer: the rating change for each win or loss depends on the difference between you and your opponent on the ladder. If they're higher ranked, you stand to gain more than you stand to lose, and vice versa.
