When you start a new character in factions is there quests that will give you new skills off the pre island? i beat the factions campaign with my war that was tyrian born but i just got my assassin off of the pre island so i dont know.
There's a few, you get some from your initial primary quests, then you can go back later for "advanced training" for your old headmaster and get a few more skills. Mostly, you just have to buy the dang things though.
