ATM, there is nothing really to be gained from having more territory for your Faction. The ony thing that can change is the temple. There should be an uberdungeon that can only be accessed when you are alligned with the faction that controls the area.

Im not realy agreeing to ure ubber idea, but its just that, the only thing that changes is, wether u can buy something in an outpost or not
Big deal, theres dozens of neutral ones that can sell u anything at any given time
There currently is an "elite" area in factions called The Deep...but u can only get there by being the leading alliance holding the city of cavalon...which im not even gonna get into
