Idea: Merge the Tyrian/Canthan Character Creation
against
Why shouldn't you be able to start a Tyrian looking character in Cantha or a Canthan looking character in Tyria? Why can't I mix and match the Faces/Hair. If you have both Prophecies and Factions available, you should be able to start either type in either campaign.

I like the idea. The only reason against it is the "role playing" (i.e. Someone from one land wouldnt realistically look like someon from another land). But I dont "role play" so I'd like to see it merged.

Well, if you want to roleplay, no one is stopping you from making a Canthan in Cantha or a Tyrian in Tyria IF my idea goes into effect. Just why is everyone else limited?

I realy think that this should ba available, considering that we are merging the account for only one person to play at a time, and we only get 2 of the 4 characters that chapter would have had alone, merged chapters should allow us to make characters with combine features from all the chapters we own.
The seperation of features causes characters from different chapters to look more distinguished, but the real goal in character creation is to allow as much customization as possible, so the player can develope the look they want best. The 3 days of training camp with your buds at the begining of the chapter shouldn't seclude character creation options just to maintain an alternate look, it's only a few days into the game play, and everyone with their characters from other chapters will be playing missions and quests with you anyways.
It doesn't realy matter that you can't make one look in the other chapter, what realy matters is that you cannot combine features from one chapter or another. If you realy wanted to look just one way then you would be able to make that look in one chapter and bring him over, but you cannot customize your look with facial features from one chapter and hair features from another, granted, that is the only restraint.
But overall, as long as there are plenty of enjoyable features in each, I don't mind, it is a rather trivial loss, and as long as there are plenty of good looking features to choose from, I can live with it.

Haha, of course this should be implemented, as long as you have both Prophecies and Factions. I've been wondering why it wan't implemented.

At the very least, Hair features should be merged!

I'm not buying the separation of the "races" of Tyria and Cantha. My Tyrian monk is a dark-skinned Asian; if the difference is so great, why does my monk already look like she belongs in Cantha?

I was dissapointed that even simple things, like the more exotic skin tones found in ch 1, were not in ch 2.
