At Anets suggestion

Hello people of Guild Wars Guru community,
I usually dislike partaking in forms and such, but someone at Anet suggested I do so.
(I also tried to search but got a message about it being disabled)
Ok here's my problem.

I have completed the game, and am trying to collect my elite skills.
One of the Elite skills is of course Quivering Blade. But to do this I need the Am Fah mad at me in Wajjun Bazaar.
Well my problem comes from the fact that they actually like me in Wajjun Bazaar.

My guess of this was because some bug in the quest Drink from the Chalice of Corruption.
I wrote Anet and according to the person I got a hold of It is not so. (The quest is functioning as intended)

So here was my status of the quest:
I see Brother Tosai, I talk to him, I chose to drink from the chalice
(Honestly I wasn't reading it at the time just accepting all his quests)
I told my self I would deal with this later and mapped back to the marketplace, where I immediately abandoned the quest.
This got rid of the degeneration but not the friendliness of Am Fah.

According to Anet the quest is a one time quest, in which if you abandon you are not meant to get it again.
Ok got that. I then explained that The Am Fah liked me in Wajjun Bazaar only and no were else.
They said this too was intended, and not a bug. (and suggested posting on a form like this one)

So my question is there anything I can do cap Quivering Blade? Or, do to get the Am Fah mad at me? (I have heard that they become mad if you actually complete the quest)

If not I would like to express this difficulty to others so that others know not to abandon the quest if they ever plan on capturing quivering blade.

I am open to suggestions
(I posted it in here sense Anet insisted there was no bug, and its relating to a Canthan quest)

I can't believe you drank from the Chalice of Corruption!!! Obviously nothing good was going to come from that

My advice would be to find a party of real life people that still have the Am Fah hostile towards them and go skill capping with them (just make sure you are not the leader of the party).

Have you gone back to Brother Tosai? He should still have a ! sign above his head. I did the exact same thing not too long ago - I abandoned the quest at first because the degen was annoying, found out I needed to cap Quivering Blade, went back and received the quest again (and finished it, making the Am Fah hostile).

Chalice is tradeable, so if you can't find a way to get the quest, either get it on another char and place it in storage for the character getting quest, or have someone else give one to you.

I appetite the responses, I have went back to Brother Tosai and he does not have the quest for me and the Am Fah still like me in the Wajjun Bazaar. But this is not a surprise because that “The Guild Wars Support Team” assured me that you are not to get the quest again if you abandon it. I liked the idea of grouping with another that was enemies of the Am Fah. I feel it probably won’t work. But I wanted to give it a shot (I go for trying pretty much anything). Having no real life friends that play guild wars, I stood in the market asked for someone that was enemies to group with just to see if they would become hostile. My luck I stood there and stood there and kept asking, absolutely no luck. The other way suggested is to get a hold of a chalice, I would not prefer if possible (and I seriously hope this is not the “quest is functioning as planned” method) and I’m not even sure if it will work, considering I chose to drink from the chalice (and not give it to the emperor). Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Just curious I heard that sometime Anet employees scan the form.
If any of them see this could one of you confirm that in the quest Drink from the Chalice of Corruption that you are NOT meant to get the quest again if you Abandon it (ie not complete it, leading to my situation)
As stated by The Guild Wars Support Team.
The only reason I mention this is because of the responses about getting the quest again.
(In which case if this is STILL not a bug. Then why am I being soloed out to not get the quest again)

Thanks for your replies,
Kelliborn

It sounds to me like you were looking for a group in the wrong way. Try looking for a group doing the first part of that mission, and join up with them. Maybe then you'll at least be able to get them hostile towards you.

Another idea is to form a Skill Capping group specifically for Quivering Blade. You may get some invites that way and those may have the Am Fah hostile. That could work for you as well.

Also, isn't there anywhere else to cap Quivering Blade? Most elites have multiple spawn points.

Right now Guild-Wiki (which I usually use for my GW related info) is only reporting that the Am Fah guy in the bizarre has the skill. I don't think I have that one yet, either. I wouldn't mind helping if ya wanna team up (the Am Fah hate me, 'course killing hundreds of them doesn't hurt) just whisper me in game, character name "Jake Dare".

Edited 5/21
Instead of double posting, I will just throw this up in my last post... teaming with someone who has the Am Fah hate them and someone who is on good terms with the Am Fah; they will not be hostile (even with someone who has them hating you as the leader):

So this mystery is still unsolved and either:
A) A Glitch that will be worked out in a future update
B) A skill that might be able to found somewhere else (though no one has seen it anywhere else yet)
C) Perhaps, If you buy the chalace from someone sellng the quest item and try to give it to the emperors hand (it will fix it)

Just as a final follow up, as of the May 26 patch I was able to re-acquire the quest. (This time I refused to drink ). Thanks to Anet, Jake, and the others.
