Final stat points are similar to Ranger's ideal stat spreads. I'm using skill stacking to augment damage vs. just raw damage boosting, I wonder how it'll fare? [little loop combo ^_^]
9+1+3 Critical Strikes
11+1 Dagger Mastery
Rest to Shadow Arts +1
Golden Locust's Strike
Fox Fangs
Horns of the Ox
Falling Spider
Twisting Fangs
Shadow of Haste
Locust's Fury {E}
Plague Touch / Expose Defenses
The idea is quite straight forward and I'd guess this does an enormous amount of damage due to massive double striking combined with nice crits. The elite may be stripped and then you're stuck with less energy than normaly, but thankfully, the GLS still hits even without an enchantment, just no energy regain.
5 ATTACK SKILLS?! WTF?! With the increased double strikes, there's a good chance you'll hit your foe between 7-10 times in your 5 attacks and the combo is cheap enough in terms of energy to execute without any problems. The collector's daggers: Poisonous Dragon Fangs of Dagger Mastery doesn't hurt either, in fact, it was made for this skill set. If you get hit with Wild Blow however, you're stuck waiting for your shadow of haste to work again.
From what I can tell, Shadow of Haste is just short of Aura of displacement for surprise attacking, however, you can't be kited under this skill if at all... ^_^
Done in order, your attack skill combo should stuff one of your targets spells, and leave them with a very nasty combo of bleeding, degen, and deep wound. If they can't get saved at that point, they're pretty much toast to regular attacks.
You might need Expose Defenses if your teammates don't have anything like it or Rigor Mortis.
Any thoughts? I figured the buffing from the massive degen and the high crit rate + Locust's Fury should be plenty enough to make up for lack of 16 weapon mastery...
Like a ranger. Critical and Expertise are like brother and sister with expertise being the sexier sister I think...
