Something wrong with this site [Firefox]

When I open more than two tabs from these forums my CPU usage goes up to 100% until I shut down Firefox.

Might be the flash ad I don't know, but something's wrong that's for sure. Doens't happen with any other site.

Hmmm, can you tell if it's a particular ad? Or does this happen every time?

As Inde said, what add is it that is crashing you'r Firefox? Have you tried using Internet Explorer's tabbing? Does it do the same?

Try rebooting you'r PC? Maybe that could fix it.

no, it's 100% reproducable after reboot and it's only in firefox. i always get the smilie add, never seen another one.

Do you have 1.5.0.0 FireFox? There is a memory leak bug on it and you'll need to update it to 1.5.0.1 or higher to fix it. It dealt with a similar (if not the same) problem you're having, multiple tabs would lockdown FireFox because of over memory usage. Quote:

If you're not using 1.5, then I'm not sure what your problem is, maybe the ads. But if you have a tough time fixing the problem, then you can always result to the attractive archives. xD

i got 1.5.0.3, however the problem has disappeared it seems.... computers o.0 haven't changed anything here.
