i farm the ice tooth cave minotaurs (and this is not a thread about how shitty the spot is i can make 6k an hour which is good enough for me =P) and on my last run it said "the drops would go down if i continusly kill the monsters at the start of the map" or something like that. now i get sod all for farming there.
~is this a usual problem?
~will the drops go back up?
~wheres my coffee!?!

can anyone answer my questions?

Areas farmed constantly will stop dropping items than usual.

Yes that was a nerf awhile back i think. It helped reduce the farm bots :[

Just move on to another spot for a while, do a mission, clear another zone, that kind of thing and your hallowed grounds will return to normal.

Your coffee is at the coffee shop, go there, then play some more in a different area, then get more coffee and everything will be ok

perhaps the area has been overfarmed in general and the minotaurs don't have anything left...

(quick question)So, if I were to go out with my warrior and the rest hechies, I have much less of a chance to get drops right? I would have a better chance to get drops alone?(not just gold)

I have been fighting from amnoon oasis to seeker's passage with my warrior for materials and gold and weapon drops. I get about 700-800 gold everytime (after salvaging everything). Would I get more if I were alone (which is impossible for me to do)?

yes, if you were alone you would get more. If you are in a group of 6 (you and 5 hench) you only recieve 1/6th of the drops, because technically, they get drops too. also, say you pick up a 100g drop, you only get 1/6th of that, or about 17g.

K, thanx. Is it possible for any warrior even with the best armor, the best weapon and shield, the best runes, and the best skills to fight his or her own way through the desert?

thats the ANTI FARMING CODE

ti reset it you gotta go do a mission or two from beggining to end of it. do 2 or 3 beginig missions, help noobs, then come back and see what have changed in your drops

I am going to have to play a little longer and get more XP by doing bonuses and finish all of the quests before I start farming or running. Thanx for the links.

Just sharing one of my experiences here.

I've noticed the massive amount of bots that have flooded the Elona area, and with my sense of curiousity, I tried to farm that area for an hour straight. Non stop.

Suddenly, the message regarding farming the area repeatedly showed up. After that, I tried to farm Elona again, and only 2 drops in total came. Ok, so that spot is nerfed for me for a while o.o, I thought. Then I took my Monk to Droknars to see if I can get rid of that 'anti-farm code'. 3 runs, 4 drops. Literally. Ok, something is wrong here, maybe I should go play with my Ranger.

3 hours pass, and I get back on my Monk. I went back to Elona, killed the Minotaurs there several times, and apparently, I'm still 'nerfed'. I go to Droknars, and I'm still 'nerfed'. I go to Sanctum Cay, and I'm still 'nerfed'.

Lesson? When that message hinting you about killing the same monsters over and over at the beginning of the map shows up, the character that the message showed up for is basically done for a day.

Maybe it just happened to me, and I highly doubt it was just a coincidence that I would get 1-2 drops of any kind each run.

Remember to always switch up your areas if you are to farm!

Why? Is your warrior not done with the campaign yet? Even if he isn't its very easy to start farming.

Warrior farming is cheap to start
55hp farming is also cheaper than ever!
