I think our real discontent with Factions falls under various reasons but me for it was:
1. Being forced under structured guidelines of getting around. Having to do missions. I have 2 accounts and 8 chars to get the end of the game. After backtracking and helping guildies I have redone certain missions 10 times. Only 2 chars to the end. Most of us played along enough where we ran to Beacons, to Droks, then to LA to the Desert and could level up from 15 to 20 with Doppleganger, i guess were are spoiled?
2. Faction grinding.. enough said
3. I think this new system breeds animosity toward other players due to alliance control and alliance standing. In Prophs, we only waited and cheered our country for Halls to get in to FOW or UW.
4. Lack of open areas and farming ground. Factions needs several areas that are setup similar to the Forge and UW.
5. My number one discontent is players are spread too thin. I have yet to a all human group on the Kurzick side at Unwaking Waters. Henchies are annoying.

I've had several full groups at Unwaking Waters (in fact, all human on both sides at the same time). And since farming is not something that they actually want to encourage, lack of it isn't a legitimate gripe.
I agree with you on points 2 and 3 though, and sorta on point 1 (I want the flexibility, but in Prophecies it was too easy to skip most of the content.

No need for yet ANOTHER thread dealing with concerns about Factions - there are a few on this same page already, take your concerns there.
