GW/GW:F character Qs

says you can have your existing characters in GW travel from GW to GW:F continent right?? is that true?? my friend said you cant...

Example: my Char lvl 20 in GW can it travel to GW:F and do the missions?? and go back and forth?

yes you can as long as you own both games

you should be able to travel back and forth.
I have traveled to Cantha with Tyrian characters and to Tyria with Canthan characters.

edit: you might need to be ascended...i think

oh yeah 1 more thing.. if my char is lvl 20 in tyria and wanna explore cantha.. does that mean i have 2 do all the low level missions in cantha too? T_T

Ascention is NOT required and anyone who tells you that is wrong. Only requirement to take a Tyrian to Cantha is that you have gotten as far as LA. You can also take Canthans to Tyria just by getting as far as Kaineng center by going out to Kaineng docks and talking to the right people.

No, You skip the "noob" missions. (There are only two, Factions jumps you to good lvl20 content very fast)

Just wondering, but Canthan characters will be level 20 when they hit LA, probably with the equivalent of Droks armour and max damage weapons with reasonable mods.

I'm thinking that LA and the surrounding areas is not going to be that impressive to them ? Poor armour and weapons and easy enemies. And I noticed that while you get quite an entertaining lead-in to Vizhuna Square, there is no equivalent for characters going to LA. A cut scene, a new area that you spend about ten seconds in and then it's straight to LA. Just seemed a bit....rushed to me. In cantha you get the quest with Mhenlo and his friends, and in LA you get nothing.
