When will previous armor be upgraded?

Its been almost a month since the launch of Guildwars, Factions.

My question is.. When will we get it?

Soon... is the normal reply. Or another dev friendly term "As soon as its ready".

My 15k Pyromancer set really gets nuked pretty hard with these new double damage ele bosses. Cant even stop a proper Double Dragon with it.

I decided I didn't care if they ever updated the prophecies armor... I salvaged all mine for runes after buying newer, cooler armor. :\

I too have been waiting for this (in addition to an upgrade for 10/10 Drago's Flatbows) and I'm hoping that it happens sooner rather than later.....however, I would rather have the devs take enough time to test the upgrade process and make sure that there are no bugs before they release it. Imagine if there was a bug that caused your black armor to become undyed or your sup vigor rune to disappear.....that would not be fun.

I also have been waiting for upgrades on [what are now junk greens,Dragos/Victos 10/10] that I worked hard to get.How bout STOP nerfing what little solo runs we have in Fuctions and work on armor/weapons upgrades already?

I'm starting to think the armor and weapons will be upgraded on the same day when Duke Nukem Forever comes out.

It'll be introduced the same time that the Auction House and Actual Guildwide Storage are put in...

I've seen people saying "WTB Victo's 20/20 Axe". Did they not make newly dropped Victo's Axes into 20/20s?

Not that any of my characters really need the upgrade, but it would be nice to know it was available, sometime.

Although I haven't seen the new 20/20 axes, from what I hear all previous greens that were 10/10 Ap,now drop as 20/20.
Everything I have is from pre Factions.Thats the entire point of this thread.When can we upgrade? Maybe all the old drops are junk?

If Anet upgrades the old Victo's Battle Axes to 20/20 sundering, they should also update all the 20/20 Rockmolders to 10/10 to be consistent. Otherwise, just leave them be.

Maybe Arenanet, like the rest of us, realizes that Sundering is crap and doesn't care whether or not existing weapons are 10/10 or 20/20, since the only thing that gets better is people's e-peen.

@Stabber: the current Rockmolders are 20/10; 10/10 is a step backwards.

About armor: I'm hoping that Arenanet is making the better decision by unlinking Prophecies looks from stats. I'd rather they take their time and figure that out than merely upgrade the old armors.

and if looks, if i dont like the loon that comes off, will i be a ble to remove upgrade? :/

It'll be upgraded probably in October. You heard it here first.

I think that this is something they said that would come soon (certainly not before ch.3), and it would only make sense as this was told to us recently. Otherwise like unconfirmed reports of an auction house... we can only hope!
