question about bumping

now as it clearlly states i am not posting something to sell but it was my post s in this same forum that were just closed for bumping. my question is i bumped my post at 23 hrs and 30 minutes because i was going out. first off i have seen tons of posts were ppl were warned before they had there post closed so why was mine closed? is this like some kind of what the admins read they ban or what people tell them because i have a third post that was not closed that i bumped at the same time? can a admin tell me what is up or anyone reading this forum why the posts were closed for bumping.


and dont sit there and tell me it was because i didn t wait 24 hours cause like i said i read posts everyday that there were earlly bumps like within 6 hrs and the post was not closed. remember i bumped at 23 hrs and 30 min. any feedback would be greatlly helpfull.

If you actually read what the Moderator put in your thread, it says they were closed for multiple threads in violation of the rules. As you can see, they left one of your 3 sales postings open - the dagger one.

yes but they were all posted all 3 of them at roughlly the same time. and they were all bumped at the same time as well but is 30 min really that big of a deal to close posts? like i said i know the rule is 24 hrs but what makes a post closable? is it the fact 3 of them were bumped because like i also said i see posts all the time getting bumped within like 6 hrs of the main post and they are not closed. to me thats kindda bull. if you are gunna close posts due to bumping everyone who bumps earlly should have there posts closed. no if, ands or warnings. just seems to me that i could have just gotten a hey you bumped 30 minutes to earlly warning instead of a close like i have seen in other posts bumped alot earlly then what i had done.

Where you're confused is that bumping wasn't your issue, having 3 sell threads open simultaneously was.

Here's the rule from the link above:

You may have only one open active thread at any one time. If you wish to start a new thread you can either PM a mod requesting your old thread be closed, or you can request in your NEW thread that your old thread be closed. Any user found having multiple open threads will have all but one closed at the moderator’s discretion.

As I replied to the OP, the violation wasn't about bumping but about multiple threads. I'm not so strict to close a thread if the bump is a LITTLE early that's obvious.

No rules are much less strict here.. it's allowed to bump a thread more often than once per day and have more than 1 thread. Just try to keep it reasonable.

yeah, cause you know there are those PC checks that keep getiting bumped every 30 min. lol
