Switching characters?

I can't believe there isn't a hotlink for switching characters without logging out.
Maybe you could choose the character you want to switch to through a pop-up window then type your password to confirm.

I'd assume the current way it works is due to security, you can't 'forget' your account logged in and have someone clean out all charas (netcafes, that is).

There is a way around it by adding the password onto the GW commandline, as instructed here, after which logging off takes you back to char selection screen.

Sure, you can add your password into the command line of the GW shortcut, but that's not very secure at all considering it is unencrypted plain text, readable to anyone who knows how to right click and go to properties.

I've always wished for something like this.

As Tarun said, it's not very safe, as all you have to do is right-click on the GW icon and then go to properties.

This is something I've missed ever since I started playing GW.
