Alright this has been on my mind ever since I saw some preview pictures of Factions a few months ago.

Sorry about the fuzzy image, and yes, one is male and the other is female, but if you stand them next to each other side by side (and same gender), the chitin shell armor and 15k armor look almost identical.

They may have adapted the same-alike graphics engine in Factions that Knights has? Well Knights was a good game.. RIP in my book though haha.

It's not some vast conspiracy if two games look similar. Think about our collective cultural experience. It's entirely possible that two people will develop similar looking art, machinery, etc. because they had their formative experiences shaped in a similar fashion.

I for one, think that the Kurzick warrior's helmet looks a lot like Suaron's helmet for LOTR. Other's say it looks like Batman's cowl.

the Stormbow is the closest to the +8 weapons in Knight Online imho

If you look at the chest pieace for both, they look alike

Even tho i didnt like knights(its been awhile.. maybe its better now), it looks pretty cool.

Yeah sorry guys, KO wasn't exactly a nicely organized game so I couldn't find a very good picture. But the +8 weapons part I didn't think of, just remembered about them

I definitally see the resembalance, but its covered above on how it probably happened..
