Vanity Weapon Skins in Factions?

I haven't played Factions much yet, so I was curious what the public thought about this.
In Prophecies, we have the very rare Crystalline Sword and Dwarven Axe, so what are the Elite vanity weapon skins in Factions?

I found nothing on this topic using the search feature, and if this is the wrong forum please move it.

zodiac weapons i guess...

They said it was to early to tell then... im not sure now

Zodiac weapons, uglyass Celestial weapons, Plagueborn weapons, end game green weapons which also drop as purple/gold in the elite missions, Golden Phoenix weapons, Platinum weapons. Alot more too. There's alot more variety in weapon skins in Factions than Prophecies.

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks those are ugly.

Everyone wants to have them, Zodiacs are not that rare as some people wish them to be. Once more and more people farm these elite missions and/or adapt to its level of difficulty you'll notice a lovely decrease in price. It's not like one year before when perfect chaos rarely showed up.

And yes, I take any "raven staff" over any celestial weapon.

The Vertebreaker comes close, but there are no Vanity weapons I know of so far. I don't care though, as I never really liked the Vanity weapon idea.

Does anyone know what leet caster items drop in the elite missions?

None. The Deep drops a Sword, Axe and Hammer, and Urgoz Warren drops a Longbow, Shortbow and Recurve bow. All are 20/20 sundering, +30 health, 15>50 if I recall as well.

zodiac weapons are NOT rare. they are COMMON. but they only drop (always!) in elite missions.

worth of zodiac weapons will drop hard when more people play those elite missions and I like that idea.


it's strange that ppl spend less money for a much more rare naga longbow than for a zodiac-(recurve)-bow...

zodiac and vertebreakers, phoenix, forgotten and some of the celestial stuff

personally i only like zodiac items and the phonix blade, celestials look like lolypops

they are rare, its the same as old Chaos axes eternal shields and so on.. so sorry, that sounds like a bit weird comment ;P

They aren't rare at all. When you're in an Elite mission, most of the items that drop are Zodiac items. And no, you can't find them, but you can't enter the Elite missions either, but that still doesn't make them rare, the only problem is that the ones holding the Elite mission have control over these items, they can sell them for alot, as noone else can find them at that time. So they're definitly not like Chaos Axes/Etneral Shields, as those are rare, even in UW/FoW.

Dunno.. I have a perfect platinum staff that gleams with the brightest of bling.. and I feel quite vain, carting it about ....

anyway, to me, I don't think a weapon is a "vanity weapon" unless you feel that you like the skin of the weapon :/. IMO vanity weapons are basically next to useless unless their perfected out anyway :/

in GW:F so far i've liked:
Sword: Golden Phoenix Blade, or Oni Blade
Hammer: Gravel of the Nephilim, for sure.
Axe: Gemstone Axe
Bow: Amber Longbow
Staff: Winged Staff, or Platinum Staff

Wow....

It is really such a shame there are only warrior and ranger greens in The Deep
