Well. Guild wars crashes after a while when I start it. I get the box that says "send error report to arena net" and what not, I've sent it. Multiple times.

What I did:

Last night I decided I would put together a server from the old comps in the garage, while I was their I noticed we had extra memory, I shutdown my comp and took my memory out to compare it. Wasn't the same so I put my memory back in. After that I started my comp and guildwars was crashing, so I uninstalled it, reinstalled it. Still crashed. Then I noticed that fire fox was crashing to. I checked my comp for spware/adware etc, got rid of it. It still crashed. So now I am here, the next morning, computer is clean. Programs keep crashing.

My specs:
768 mb memory
Radeon 9600 pro 128 mb
Pentium 4 1.7 ghz
ASUS P4R800-VM Motherboard
P.S. guild wars worked flawlessly before last night...

Did you remove/replace any other components? You may want to reseat your RAM, just in case it's not got a solid hold.

Run Memtest:

If everything is crashing, bad RAM is the first place I'd look.

how about checking for new updates, could be as smple as that. Maybe a driver needs to be updated or something like that.

Might be the same error I have. "Memory could not be written/read" most of the time, and certain other ones rarely (maybe unconnected). I only find crashes in Firefox and Guild Wars - all other programs work perfectly.

What were your original specs before adding anything to the computer from spare parts?
