Does anyone really use scrolls?

All the scrolls boost your exp gain right? Well, considering there is a level cap of 20, and not to mention quest rewards can get your further with skill points, is there really any point to using scrolls? The only thing I can think of is lowering your DP a bit faster, but then chances are your not going to get rid of all of your DP unless you use a favor of the gods or kill multiple bosses.

I don't see much point to scrolls. WHY!?

Ask any veteran solo player: Removing death penalty is based on how much exp you are gaining (This is why quest rewards will clear a dp), for this reason alone I always have a few scrolls to hand when in PUGs.

I'm doing this with my new Tyrian Monk. Works like a charm.

Also, in high level areas, it's really nice when you need to get rid of DP quickly (barring Candy Canes).

Well for one, experience farming. Solo farmers that go out Droks and kill the trolls in the cave, for example, might use scrolls to boost experience gain. Hence the term, "Scrolls and Trolls." (A hunters scroll works extremely well)

After level 20, you're probably going to need those skill points. If someone is going to try and unlock every skill, it really doesn't matter if you have 1,000,000 to spend if you don't have skill points.

yeah I figured on the DP thing.Its just that sometimes the exp feels insignificant, even when doubled.

I trade my monestary credits for them in "pre" to get an easy 100g. I also used scrolls of Hero's Insight to shorten the leveling time of my now deleted assassin.
