News about the Guild Emblem Contest

Hiya,

The results are in for the Factions Guild Emblem Contest, but we're awaiting localization and a global presentation of the winners and honorable mention list. To those who have waited so patiently, I'm happy to tell you about the prizes, and the fact that we've increased the goodies!

• We will be giving the Winners a Guild Wars tee and the first two in the series of Guild Wars Season One Skill Pins
• The Honorable Mentions will receive the two Guild Wars Skill Pins
• And, as an added bonus, 25 contestants will be randomly selected and they will receive a skill pin, too!

We're looking forward to making the big announcement, and then letting you know about the next contest!

Thanks, glad you like it! It was one of those epiphanies, like "Hey, let's do more!" I will plan on doing this sort of thing -- random drawings for small tokens as part of the prize offerings -- for all future contests! I mean, it's cool to know that even if you don't win, there's a chance you'll receive a little something in return for your efforts, don't you agree? (And I think I'll leave the exact nature of the gifties out of the descriptions, just to add a little spice to it.)

Now, as to the recipients of this prize, the question I have is, will the entry we are calling "Sword Stuck in the Space Ship with Laser Lighting Special FX" be amongst the 25 randomly chosen?

P.S. Small hint: We may be able to roll the main announcements tomorrow and the bonus (randoms) on Thursday. No promises, but it's a possibility!
