ability to re-enter a mission after getting disconnected/err7'd

I love how last night and this morning I had to wait 30-45 minutes to get a completed group for the elite mission, and then 10 minutes into the mission, I get disconnected. Now, when an err7 occurs, I think that when we restart GW, we should have the option of rejoining the last mission that we were in, if the team is still playing. That team should have the option to either let you back in or not (for example, if you get disconnected at the beginning of the mission, they probably wouldnt let you back in 30 seconds before the final boss is killed). This should be available for at LEAST the elite missions, but hopefully all missions. Any ideas?

stop opening threads that have been done to death already and add your original idea to all the reconnect threads already there.

does the term unhackable instance give you a hint?

they have (the devs) already said they are working on several ideas to reconnect but until security concerns are met you can go whistle (my opinion there) they said when it is ready not intil

They said that this would appear with Factions, or very shortly thereafter. Almost a month later and nada.

They did not say it would appear with factions, infact the first time it was mentioned that they were working on it was with the interview with Jeff Strain that occured just before factions was released. In the immortal words of John Carmack, "It'll be done when it's done, and not before".

They never said this was coming with Factions. Or even shortly after.

They're working on it. Give them time.

You'll have it before the 3rd Chapter is my understanding.
