ok, Factions isn't Epic... however Guild Wars as a game with say 4 more chapters on it and the ability for 1 character to play all 5 chapters in some sort of sequence will make Guild Wars truely Epic... witht he 2 chapters a year theory, we will soon have more playable areas, more choices, etc than any Pay per Play game out there...

With places like Nahpui Quarter and the Celestials, these, I believe, open up enough plot threads in themselves to gve us teleportation by the Envoys to other planets in the solar system (the system is shown as the spinning statues in nahpui Quarter)

So yes, even with just a couple more chapters bolted on, Guild Wars as a single game will indeed reach Epic proportions, however we have maybe 12 to 18 months to wait til this dream comes to fruition... It will though (Hopefully! )

Its getting there, I enjoy Factions - I Really Enjoyed Prophecies but it has had time to have more content added to it. I really haven't Played much of the Kurzic stuff cause I'm Still working on my 3rd char though the Luxon side. I think the content is there w/ both sides - Factions by itself I don't think would have caught my attention like GWP did. But GW is heading that way I have faith in ANET they listen to there users and will make us content that is enjoyable and has a Hook, If the don't they will be out of buisness since they cannot sit back at rake in the Pay Per Month $$$.

"Pre-nerf" is incorrect. It's pre-buff.

Quoted for Truth. GWP is one superb game but Cantha seems to lack the X-Factor that made Prophecies cling to us.

Cantha has another side of X-factor for me...I like exploring the petrified forest with henchies more than I would like exploring >Insert high level area< in GWP...Also the more "PvP"-fightstyle from the mobs is more interesting...

yes i also agree with it..most probably anet has more time to make GW:P comparing to GW:F, which i feel is more like a rushing game..that they rushed to meet the deadline..

well, i also have faith in anet..but i just worry that if anet listen too much to the demands of their fan until they are willing to take away some of the main elements of the game..

I barely play the game anymore. Answer your question? In most cases forgettable. I can't even get up the energy to finish the luxon side on my first character to have beaten the game, let alone, dredge 5 more characters through that endless go to, go here crap. I'm about to see what brown can do for me, and see if I can hire UPS to finish this game for me.

Not at all. I mean, it's a good game, but it's definately not epic.

As it is currently, it's both enjoyable and engrossing but the narrative is far too weak and the gameplay has plenty of kinks and frustrations to work out.

It might truly become an impressive collection of games worth completing or it might just end up as a drawn out series of redundant cash grab stand alone games.

That's something I feel is too soon to be answered.

It's Epic....but in the exact opposite way Prophecies was Epic.

I would have to agree with Lonesamurai. Factions alone isn't epic but the game as a whole has the potential to be. Whether or not it reaches it's potential has yet to be seen. The game as a whole is truely the first of it's kind and has definately set new standards when it comes to online games. However that just makes the game ground breaking. For it to be epic it must stand up against the test of time.
