Honestly, I'd like to see some sort of flashy emote for PvErs, like if you beat every mission you'd get an emote, if you beat every bonus, you'd get a better emote, ect. I like how we get titles now, but they are not flashy in the least. And I realize that one could argue that that fancy armor is the PvErs reward, but it just seems rather unfair that PvPers get a giant tiger/phoenix/whatever, whereas we just get a cool skin to wear.
Even though Anet clearly favors PVP...

PVErs are already flashy. We get 15k armor, we get FoW armor, we have access to better weapons , and the special event items (halloween, wintersday, day of the tengu) are for PvE characters only. Sure a PvP player can buy weapons, but that would mean they have to grind to get the gold, thus disqualifying them from the "hardcore PvP only" type.

How can i think that Anet favors PvP? Well, FOW armor is rather dull unless it's dyed an extraodinary color, but a fame emote is TOTALLY noticeable. It's got a giant animal shooting out of somebody, it's gold, it's got a crazy aura about it, ect.
That's how I think Anet favors PvP.
PvP does not need emotes for all out did was kill a bunch of people with IWAY/Spike.
Sorry for the double post, but I feel this needed to be said.

Eh, use the Edit button to, edit a post to cause less spam in a thread.
I'm sorry if you think all HOH wins is Iway, but it's really not. As for spike builds, many varations and new styles are forming. I'm thinking you don't HOH much. But on a good balance build, it's all about positioning and tactics. 1 team vs. 1 team, the better of the team wins. As for a battle to win HOH, it takes patience and tactics.
As I said, A.net does not favor PVP more. As for completing a mission, who needs a a new emote after each mission and bonus? Every, almost all mission is henchie-able, why emote for it when countless people from Chapter 1 know their usefullness.

Posted By: quickmonty DUDE! OP was not asking for an emote for finishing A mission. He suggested one for finishing every mission (a minor accomplishment) and every bonus (a significant accomplishment). I see no harm in this and it in no way takes away from the accomplishments of PvP elitests. |

Anet does favor PvP. Take a look at the Faction PvE content. When you get to the mainland what level are you? Level 20 or close to it (as long as you do all the missions and quests available up to then). What level are the henchies? 20. What level are the enemies? 20. The PvE content very closely resembles PvP except that instead of other players controlling the opponents it's an AI instead. You have competition between the alliances of the same faction to see who can get the most faction points (current way by farming) to control the elite missions. That is an indirect PvP in that it is players still competing against other players but just not toe to toe (me fight you). Then you have the factions Luxon vs Kurzick. This is a combination of both kinds of PvP. Both a case of me fight you and me and you competing less directly for the same goal. All of this is suppose to be PvE content?

And, as I said, the OP is not asking for an emote for completing "A" mission or bonus. Please re-read the OP.

i also agree PVE needs emotes, maybe for example finishing both games, gets you one emote.
ANet favours PvE....lol.
We have hundreds of weapons, bows, shields, staffs, wands, offhands. We have 38 coop missions. We have 2 countries to roam. We have FoW/UW. We have nice armour. Rangers can get several species for a pet. We can fight countless enemies. Now, lets see what PvP has to offer....
1.5k armour, only pets a wolf. They can 12v12, RA/TA, HoH. PvP only chars cannot leave battle isles.
Now, you sure ANet favours PvP?

There is one area where PvP is definitely favored. Most skill changes are based on PvP balance and suggestions of PvP players, regardless of what the PvE players think of the changes. Now ...... I'm not saying this is right or wrong .... just pointing out what I have seen since I started playing this game.
