My monk is lvl 17 and i cant beat the guy that i have to kill in order to assend what do i have to do? Im M/E

Just equip retribution and healing breeze, max smiting and have enough in weapon for min. He won't use HB while you will.

What is your secondary class? Bear in mind that the doppelganger has maxed out stats, so whatever you use, he's going to use better. With my monk, apart from the two skills mentioned, I bought 6 res skills - totally useless to either of us. Mission and bonus no prob.

they fixed the healing breese glich. now he is using it.
use retribution on yourself. +equip all kind of VERY useless bonds and enchants. while he will be casting all of them and renewing them, just wand him. you can also consider using shield of jugment (if u have it) and just stand and wait till he kills himself on it.

To the OP change your secondary to either ranger or necro, ranger bring a bunch of long casting time spirits that don't do much, necro bring a bunch of things that force him to sacrafice.
If you don't have decent armor it WILL be hard. If you do have decent armor you can probably smite him to death.
