I'm thinking of starting a healing monk. Should I start in Tyria, or Cantha? To get good/usable skills.

I dont think so, I have a monk in Cantha with every skill I need, the only thing I am looking for now is an Elite Monk skill that I dont know where to get in Cantha (Shield of Judgment)

If anyone knows of a Boss in Cantha that has it please PM me

Cantha can be much harder to advance through.

You can only get Shield of Judgement if you have Prophecies, as it is a Prophecies only skill, not core. If you have a Canthan character, just go to Lions Arch from Cantha, and then go to the normal boss to get SoJ (outside Citadel.)
