Actually, I'm not even sure why I brought up Peace and Harmony, which has nothing to do with this really o_O
But no, I'm aware of how it functions.
Taking Air of Enchantment into the arena and trying to use that as a monk build for other than Mo/R or smiting off an ally melee-er is a bad idea because you can't cast it on yourself.
What I meant to imply was that in a group, you can make effective use of it because anyone that casts off the enchanted target can save a ton of energy, not to mention whatever energy management they already have, and with more than one person using it, especially, anyone in the party can be enchanted.
If you're running a Zealot's build, what's nice about it is that you can use it both offensively, smiting off your warriors, and defensively, cheapening the spells cast on a victim to recover.
Defense/Offense hybrids are my favourite kind of build. Not for effectiveness, I just like to be able to play a role in both aiding my allies and harming my enemies directly. Though maintaining a good offense and/or defense both accomplish the same indirectly.
I apologize for the very poor choice of wording in the prior post.
